Patient Information
Clear information to help you feel prepared and supported.
This page brings together practical information about appointments, referrals, and what to expect when attending The Pentimento Project. If something isn’t answered here, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Before Your First Appointment
After booking your appointment, you’ll receive an email with your new patient documents. Please ensure these forms are completed prior to your visit, as this helps make the most of your appointment time.
If available, please also bring:
- Any recent scans or imaging reports
- Relevant medical letters or treatment summaries
- A list of current medications
- Any completed forms not already submitted online
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your initial appointment focuses on understanding you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis.
Initial assessment
Time is taken to discuss your treatment history, current symptoms, and how these are affecting daily life. Gentle assessment may include movement, strength, swelling, or tissue changes, depending on your needs.
Discussion and planning
Findings are explained clearly, with space for questions. Together, you’ll discuss appropriate next steps and what support may be helpful now and over time.
Care moving forward
Treatment is individualised, paced appropriately, and adapted as your capacity and circumstances change. Ongoing review is part of care.
